Hawaii Help- I know there is so many threads about it

OK I know there are alot of threads about Hawaii....I read through alot of them already

BUT....Fh and I want to go for our HM and the thing is we really only have 10 days (that is just for the island) and i figure 2 days for traveling.

Our wedding is Sept 26th 2008 (Fri) and I would leave the next day in the afternoon sometime (hopefully). Then go to some different islands...but I def want to do Maui and Kauai. But should we do Ohau or the Big Island? FH is in the Marine Corps so he might like seeing Ohau.

I figured do 5 days in Maui, 3 in Kauai and 2 in Ohau and that will be our 10 day HM. But which order should we do it in?? Or should I do the Big Island for 2 days instead of Ohau??? HAHA HELP!!

I wouldn't do 3 islands in 10 days, but it's of course your choice. It's just going to be allot of traveling. If you do 3 islands I would do Kauai first it's very beautiful and you can do your relaxing there then Honolulu and then Maui. I think you are doing the right amount of time in each. I would suggest 2 islands 5 and 5. allot of hotels offer the 5th night free.

We did Oahu (one night) - Maui (4 days, 3 nights) - Kauai (8 days, 7 nights) - Oahu (2 days, 2 nights).

We began and ended in Oahu because we flew non-stop from Newark on Continental.

I would recommend starting in Kauai, it's nice and relaxing and you'll be exhausted when you get there.

Of the three islands, I liked Oahu the least (Waikiki Beach was very commercialized) so I think you can get away with doing one day there, depending on what you want to do.

I found the most things I wanted to do/places I wanted to eat were in Maui, I would've liked to have stayed a night or two longer there, especially since we did it at the beginning of the trip and were exhausted.

Have fun, Hawaii is wonderful!
