Re: Hawaii HM Quest

I booked with Dawn Dorr (LIW vendor), she got me a pretty good deal, for $4200 (including taxes)

We're staying for a total of 7 nights/8days.

2 nights at Sheraton Moana Surfrider in Oahu- cityview room (Hololulu)

5 nights at Kaanapali Beach Hotel in Maui- ocean view room (w/ car & free breakfast everyday)

The Kaanapali is supposedly the most authentic Hawaiin hotel......I had read a few mixed reviews on Tripadviser about the hotel rooms being a little older, but I noticed most of them were for the garden view rooms (which are the cheapest there), I researched and found that their garden view wings of the hotel are the oldest, but the other room categories were updated.....plus my cousin stayed here when she went and she loved it!!! So that really put my mind at ease!!! If you decide to stay here, definitely upgrade to an ocean view!!

Send me an FM if you have any questions!

Oh, as for the islands, I don't know too much either, but from what I've heard:

Oahu- the most city like & commercial of all the islands- we are still going here b/c we want to see the Arizona Memorial (Pearl Harbor)

Kuaui- I think its known for how serene it is and its golf courses- this is supposed to be a very romantic island

Maui- I think its in between Oahu & Kuaui- not as hectic as Oahu and not as quiet as Kuaui, I think its supposed to have a little more nightlife

HTH!!

We're staying at Hyatt Regency Maui, Regency VIP suite....and Outrigger BeachWalk, VIP suite in Oahu. We're not paying for Oahu, it's part of our timeshare but the Hyatt w/ plane tickets is totalled around $4000
