We're staying at my BM's timeshare in Mexico [Cabo] for 1 week right after the wedding night.
We want to go to Hawaii for the 2nd week. But have NO IDEA how to go about this... We dont know anything about what kind of flights there are between Mexico & Hawaii etc... So we figured we will just let a travel agent figure it all out for us.
Who has a good travel agent for their Hawaii HMs? And how are they paid, and how MUCH?! I really don't know the first thing about TAs..
HELP GIRLS! TIA!
ETA: I live in south western Nassau so I'd like to go somewhere fairly close. Thanks!

sorry i cant reccomend a TA, we dont use them...we like to book everything ourselves.
If you want to go from cabo to hawaii you just fly from cabo to los angelos nonstop and then connect there to say, Oahu which is another 4 1/2 hour flight. Its definitly doable and not too complicated to do if you wanted to do it yourself. You can get great hotel recommendations through this site since so many girls have been there or FM me and i can give you some info as well ive been there three times....yes three lol i live in san francisco so its not far at all.

look through the vendors on here under honeymoons/travel agents, i just looked the other day and i thought a few listed on their sites that they specialize in hawaii.

This is what I originally was going to do, but now the clock's really ticking so we figured a TA would be our best bet.

I used Lucy at Royal Holiday in Sayville - I know you sandyou want someone nearby but I never had to actually go there - we did it all over the phone and email. She booked a Perillo Hawaii tour for us. I used her for work things before but it was the first time I ever used a travel agent for personal travel. She didn't charge us any fees but I don't know if that's b/c I've worked with her a few t imes before. I think they get kickbacks from the tour companies, airlines, hotels, etc. and that's how they make money but I'm not sure....FM me if you want her phone #.

I used Phyllis S. at Herricks Travel center in Mineola... She whipped up a great hawaiian honeymoon for us very quickly and looks for ways to save you money. her # is 516-294-0020 (they may have changed #'s since they moved down the street but i think there is a automation with the new #). Good Luck!

we used Liberty Travel in Garden City. We went to Hawaii for two weeks. They recommended great hotels and we had a great time. FM me if you have other questions.
I used Robin from G.A.P. Travel in Wantagh. Her number is 516-520-5570. She was awesome! She listened to everything I wanted and worked within my budget. I did everything over the phone with her.
