I want to go to Hawaii for our HM...I just dont know where to look or start to look...any suggestions...TIA

We are going to Jamaica, but we started with Liberty Travel's website and then went on tripadvisor.com to get the lowdown on different hotels. FH's Aunt and Uncle are on a Hawaiian cruise now and it's cheaper then actually staying at a hotel in Hawaii and its AI, obviously. You also get to go Island hopping. I'm not sure how much $ it is. I know they stayed in a hotel for a few days before the cruise and breakfast was $50. and nothing is AI as far as I know.

We just booked our Hawaii Honeymoon last week. We are flying into Honolulu and staying there for 5 days and then taking a 7 day Norwegian cruise to all the different islands. I didn't do too much research...we were planning on going to Italy...but FH won the airfare and 5 nights in a hotel in Hawaii from his job...so...needless to say it was a no brainer..
Let me know if you have any questions...from what I hear...you really can't go wrong staying anywhere in Hawaii...

I bought Pauline Fromer's travel guide.
It has a lot of great tips, maps, places to stay and eat, etc.
It describes each island, so you can get a sense of which one(s) you want to visit.
I would recommend it - the book was about 15 bucks but it also has money saving tips and I am sure we will bring it with us on our trip for the restaurant reviews and other info.

I heard maui is the best spot to go! very pretty, private and less commercial than the others...

i too am looking into honeymooning in hawaii. i've been to maui several years ago and thought it was really romantic and wanted to come here after i get married. the toughest part is narrowing down the islands we're going to visit. i think we're going for oahu, maui, and kaui. i've done a lot of research on my own, buying dummies guide to hawaii, searching online, asking around. this month i'm going to talk to a travel agent to see what kind of a deal they can get me. i hope to book it sometime this month. definitely get a book on hawaii, it'll help you figure out where you want to stay and what you want to do.

I think FH is dead set on Hawaii for our HM. I would loveto go there as well...
but I am obsessed with having dinner on the beach, couple massages on the beach, room service- like a jacuzzi tub in our room lol and I am not sure if Hawaii offers this kind of stuff at the hotels...
that is why I think I am more set on St. Lucia or Royal Hideaway in Riviera Maya...
Anyone know if what I am obsessed with can be obtained in Hotel lol
