Hawaii- Honeymoon

A friend at work stood at the Hyatt Regency both in Kauai and Maui. He said Kauai is a great honeymoon spot, very low key and relaxing. Maui was also great, lots of activities but he said it may be too busy for some people. I haven't started honeymoon hunting yet, but I am going to check out both these places when I do. Good Luck!

This is usually a nice break from work. To see what everyone has to say. Now I actually have to work Yuck!!!

Hawaii- Honeymoon

We went there last May. We chose the Big Island, Kona. It was beautiful. We drove around the entire island. there is so much to do. The big Island had the National Volcanoes Park, there are a ton of water falls to see, They have black sand, green sand and white sand beaches. We are more active then sit around sun bathing type people(although we decided to go low key for the honeymoon, in Sandals Antigua) I heard Maui is fun, a lot more commercial with big tall buildings and more dancing and partying. Kuai I heard was a beautiful island, but very wet.

I guess it all depends on what your looking to do, if you want to do a lot of site seeing I recommend Kona. I admit it was a lot of driving but so worth it. The green sand beach is beautiful, but to get to it, we walked 5 miles.

For a relaxing yet fun honeymoon, I might go to Maui or the big isaldn first then relax at Kuai for the last few days.

Jessica- you are going to love Fisherman's Wharf in SF! We did the coastal drive a few years ago and loved it! One of my favorite sights was Alcatraz Island and I would recommend it- however book those tickets early if you are interested

here is a tip i got from a friend who recently got married.. some people fill out the card and forget to put their name on it (i know, how could they? but it happens). so you get a response that they can come, but have no idea who it is that is accepting!!! so what she did in light pencil on the back of the response card in the corner was wrote a number down and then assigned everyone she sent invites to a number.. that way if someone forgot she just looked up the number. its these little things that you just don't think about!!! good luck! -leighann
