Lots of suggestions! The Grand Hyatt is just amazing!

On Kauai - on our last trip we:
hiked Waimea Canyon
hiked the Kalalau Trail (difficult hike)
snorkeled at Poipu Beach, Tunnels Beach and KeKee Point
flew 'trikes' over the canyon
took a zodiac boat tour of the Napali coast

On this trip, we're doing a helicopter tour with a landing at a waterfall for a picnic lunch.

I did a spa day at the Grand Hyatt while FH played golf. I got a massage and mani/pedi. The massage was great - the mani/pedi not so much. The spa treatments were VERY expensive.

on Maui - I highly recommend the Old Lahaina Luau. It's rated the #1 luau in Hawaii by several guide books. FH and I really enjoyed it. We saw the luau on Kauai on the grounds of the Grand Hyatt. The show was ok - but honestly not as good as the Old Lahaina Luau.

Definitely go to Haleakala Crater for either sunrise or sunset. I prefer sunset - it looks the same and you don't have to get up at 3 am to enjoy it.

Maui -

Old Lahaina Luau or the Hyatt Luau are the best.

Trilogy - snorkeling cruise on a catamaran, do the one that goes to Lanai (Sunrise Cruise) Its amazing, I have done it 6 times.

Plan a trip to Hana for the day. The road to Hana is long but beautiful. Its a rain forest so its more lush and there are the 7 Sacred Pools.

Haleakula - their are bike tours, but beware, I can't tell you how many honeymooners on crutches I have seen over the years from those bike tours.

June is not whale watching season, so I wouldn't do whale cruises. Whales are Dec - April to give birth in warm water.

ITA...the Old Lahaina Luau is rated the best. Just make sure you book it in advance...we tried to change our date after we got there and they had nothing until three weeks later! Also seeing the sun rise on Haleokula Crater was awesome...we did a tour and rode bikes down the mountain afterwards. Do the Road to Hana....beautiful ride :)
If you scrapbook...the only scrapbook store is on Maui- It is the most amazing store...I spent $90 in 10 minutes!! (Island Paperie).
In Kuaui, we did a dinner boat tour of the Na'Pali coast. We saw wild goats, caves and sea turtles. I went to the spa at the Hyatt and had a pedicure-it was $105 but she spent a whole hour on my feet which was nice.
You and your DH will havea great time!

Where is Island Paperie? I'm going to have to go there.
