hawaii honeymoon-hotel question!!

Hi-- I am self booking my honeymoon & I am debating on my Kauai choice specifically but would like opinions on all!! Thanks

If anyone knows of or has been to these hotelsplease post any info!

Oahu --The Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa (Mountain View Room)

Kauai --The Marriott Resort and Beach Club
(Garden View Room)

Maui-- The Hyatt Regency --(Deluxe OCean View)


***I am debating between the Marriott in Kauai and The shaeraton

We just came back from Hawaii, doing the same islands you are planning.

FYI...We stayed at the Hyatt in Kaui and loved it! We stayed at the Hyatt in Maui and were very disappointed. A few of my friends also stayed at the Hyatt in Maui and were unhappy also.

I hope this doesn't make your choice(s) more difficult, just trying to help.

We are thinking of staying in the Hyatt in Maui also, we had almost decided 100% to stay there (We were also looking at the Fairmont.) Now, Im nervous...Why were you disappointed with the hotel in Maui?

I stayed in the Hyatt in Maui and loved it and then stayed in the Hyatt in Kauai and it was unbelievable!!!! The one in Kauai is definately better but they are both great. Hopefully you are going from Maui to Kauai or I would have been a little disappointed to. The only other place that looked really nice too in Maui is the Westin.

I agree. We stayed at the Hyatt on both Maui and Kauai. But the one on Kauai is much more impressive. I would recommend going to Maui first and then Kauai. We had a great time at both hotels. No complaints at all. The hotels were gorgeous and the staff were very helpful. We would like to go back to Maui already. Good luck with your decision.

DH and I LOVED the Hyatt in Maui!

DEFINTELTY stay at the Fairmont. We stayed there for two nights prior to go to the Hyatt. If we hadn't already paid for the Hyatt, we would of turned around and stayed the rest of our stay at the Fairmont. I think the Fairmont even blew away the Hyatt in Kaui, which was a really beautiful hotel. EVERYTHING about the Fairmont was AMAZING!

Secondly, if you like the beach, the Fairmont has a beautiful beach area, the Hyatt has basically no beach.
