Hawaii Honeymoon Questions

I am looking to honeymoon in Hawaii:

I want accommodations for at least 7 nights
and
round trip airfare


For hotel and airfare for at least 7 nights hawaiian style, how much would a trip like that cost us? We are trying to plan to keep it under 4,000 if possible so we can spend more on food and activities.

A lot of it depends on where you stay. We stayed at the Hyatt on three islands (Oahu, Maui and Kuaui). Breakfast is included there so that takes care of that meal :) There are places that cost less there (like renting a condo) and even the rooms within hotels vary depending on the view (for example an oceanview room at the Hyatt was at least $100 more per night than a mountainview room-same exact room, different view). Also if you go first class on the plane try to use airmiles if you have them to bring the cost down...if not and you fly coach definitely compare costs...what we did was compare costs and then went to a travel agent. If you tell them what your budget is they will work within your budget, I definitely think $4000 is doable. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to FM me

for airfare, direct flights are available from Newark ... i think it's slightly more expensive than a 1-stop from JFK but to us, it was worth it ... just thought i'd share

You can definitely do it on a $4,000 budget for 7 nights. DH and I went on a 3 week HM and it was just under $7,300 for 3 weeks staying in Hyatts on Maui and Kaui (in oceanview rooms), one of the Outrigger hotels on Oahu), rental cars on all 3 islands, and interisland airfare.

We used FF miles to fly to and from Hawaii.

We spent around $5K for our trip to Hawaii and we stayed for 13 nights and did 3 islands.

That included roundtrip air, interisland airfare, and our hotels. We had used points for our rental cars.

We stayed at an Outrigger in Oahu, Aston Islander on the Beach in Kauai and the Kanaapli Beach Hotel in Maui.
