Hawaii honeymooners

Where are you staying in Oahu and Maui. Time is running out for us and we just decided today to go to Hawaii. We want to do 2 nights in Oahu, 4 nights in Maui, and 3 nights in Vegas (either Ceasars or Mandalay Bay).

I posted on the newlwed board for hawaii.

but for vegas, we just got back 1.5 weeks ago.
We stayed at the Venetian. Awesome - gorgeous but pricey.
Caesars is under constructions.
They are adding a new wing but the whole sidewalk is boarded up. And Bellagio next to it is also adding on. I dont know if that will bother you or not.

Mandalay bay is nice. We didnt go into it but it is rated has having one of the top ten pools. Its all the way on one end of the strip.

Here are two websites I found helpfull in doing my research [I did alone b/c it was a surprise for my new hubby b-day]
vegas 1

vegas 2

Here is a map that shows where all the hotels were. I wish i had when I planned it, but I found it after I booked the hotel.

Hi,

I know how youre feeling. My wedding is the day before yours and we only just booked our Hawaii Honeymoon a week and a half ago.

We are doing The Big island and Maui.

Maui I would recommend The Hyatt Regency - its a great Hotel for the money. More pricey but beautiful are the Fairmont kea lani and the Ritz and of course the Four Seasons.

I researched Oahu and would have stayed at the Seraton Moanu Surfrider its beautiful and the oldest hotel on the island. Also check out the Hilton Hawaiin village and the Marriot.

I went to Vegas last month and we stayed near Ceasers, its a better location then Mandalay Bay but I hear Mandalay Bays Pool is the BEST, but location is at the start of the strip.

Good luck!

if you have any questions FM me anytime

I think we're staying at the Sheraton on Maui, but I heard the Hyatt is nice too!

Thanks everyone. My travel agent(which is FMIL's friend) said we would stay at the Outrigger Waikiki in Oahu and The Hyatt Regency in Maui. Anyone hear of the Outrigger Waikiki?
Also, which airlines are you flying? We have to choose between Delta and United. Delta is $1k more than United.

We stayed at the Hyatt on both of those islands. The one in Oahu was nice, but a little TOO big. There's a small mall in it. The one in Maui was wonderful.

Another HUGE vote for the 4 Seasons on Maui ... just spent 9 nights there and could've stayed 356 more.... Stay on the club level... I can't wait to go back!!
