Just wondering for those of you planning Hawaii honeymoons - which islands are you going to? and how did you pick the islands you're going to? I would really appreciate any information/advice bc we're trying to figure this out :) Thanks!

Hi.
I got married 4 years ago. But we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon.
We went to
San Fran 2 Nights Oahu 3 Nights Kaui 3 Nights Maui 3 Nights Vegas 2 Nights
With the exception of Vegas we stayed in the Hyatts and they were AMAZING!!!!! I would recomend these 3 islands.
I actually just got back from my second trip to Oahu last sunday.

We are going to Kauai and Maui. We decided based on nice beaches, interesting excursions. and peace and quiet. We are really excited. I would love to go back one day and go to Big Island but it would mainly be for the volcanoes. Good luck with choosing.

We are going to Oahu, Maui, Kuai and doing a day trip to the Big Island. We're staying in the Hyatt on every island. Our travel agent told us that because we're staying there for the whole trip that we got a special rate for the Hyatts.

We will be in Hawaii but we are going on a Hawaiin cruise. The boat will go to Maui, Kona, kauai, Honolulu and one other island I can't remember right now. It is through Norwegian Cruie lines. I can't wait. At least I know I won't have to take on of thos puddle jumper planes. It is bad enough I have to fly for like 10 hours just to get there. I hate flying. I'll manage though.,

You all have been so helpful with your answers...I didn't even think of doing a day trip to see one of the other ones - I'll have to look into that daytrip to the big island. Right now we're thinking Oahu, Maui and Kuaui I think....
I'm sure you can't go wrong :)

We are going to Maui 6 nights Kaui 4 nights and Oahu for 2 nights..
We are staying at all the Hyatts! FHs mom is a TA so fm me if you want more details!!

We went to:
Maui (4 nights) and stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani
Kauai (3 nights) and stayed at the Princeville
Oahu (2 nights) and stayed at the Halekulani
I HIGHLY recommend the Fairmont and the Halekulani but do not recommend the Princeville. The hotel was a little out dated and was far from the tourist area.
