Hawaii Honeymooners
Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
We decided to do a flight with a layover. We just felt that 10 hours straight on a plane were way too long. We are getting married on a Saturday and we leave for our honeymoon on Monday. What also helped us make our decision was the fact that the direct flight leaves at 1:30 and you get to Hawaii at 6:30 our flight with the connection will get us to Hawaii by 1:30 so we will still have a portion of the day left to enjoy.
Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
I went to hawaii and i did it i took a sleeping pill after i ate and slept for 7 hours!! but i didnt sleep the night before and my flight was at 7 something in the morning so i was exhausted by then!!!
Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
we took xanax and slept on our flight to ireland, albeit poorly. if you want to go the red-eye route, i def recommend splurging on first class. it's not comfortable to sleep in the coach seats. it's fitful, and i don't ever wake up feeling rested.
Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
we booked the direct flight out of newark that you're talking about - both ways. we're going the day after the wedding and just going to pass out. :)

Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
we are booking our honeymoon to hawaii and we had the choice to do nonstop or layover in seattle...we chose the layover so we can get up and move around a little bit and use the bathroom lol i hate the bathroom on the plane....it actually brings us straight to Maui with the layover If we did direct we would have had to take a later flight from honolulu to Maui
Re: Hawaii Honeymooners
We are not doing a straight 10 hour flight because we felt it was just too long. We are leaving 13 days after our wedding because I'm a teacher and we are waiting for April break.....I don't mind because it gives us time to unwind from the wedding and prepare for the HM without it being stressful
