Who's going to Hawaii? How are you flying? Thinking of doing something out west before heading to Hawaii to break up the flying time. Where are u staying? We can't figure out where we want to go & looking for advice. Thanks!

Re: HAWAII HONEYMOONERS
we flew on continental airlines from newark to honolulu direct. We stayed at the following islands:kauai: princeville hotel
maui: kapalua bay
honolulu: the royal hawaiian.
all were very nice and we had a wonderful time.
when my cousin went to hawaii for his honeymoon, he stopped in vegas for a few days and then flew to hawaii.

Re: HAWAII HONEYMOONERS
Here is my itinerary...Honolulu: Halekulani
NCL Star cruise for 7 days
Maui: Hyatt
one or two nights with friends
Kauai: Hyatt
Flying out of JFK to O'hare then to Honolulu.
Flying back from Lihue to LA then to LGA.
Both flights are on American. I thought of going through Continental but I despise Newark Airport. Everytime I go there I end up with a headache.

Re: HAWAII HONEYMOONERS
We did 1st anniv. there last month.Stopped in San Fran for a night then went straight from SF to Maui.
Coming home we went from Kauai to LA and then home to NY.
Makes the trip so much more bearable to break the flights up.

CW0904..You are going to love the Halekulani. They treat you like royalty! I felt spoiled. The service in any other hotel could not compare!

Re: HAWAII HONEYMOONERS
We haven't booked yet, but we're planning to fly from NY to Las Vegas for two or three nights (at the Bellaggio) and then onto Hawaii. Coming home we'll probably fly straight back to NY.

we flew united to la, then the next morning to lihue, kauai. on the way back we stopped in san fran, but only for three hours. oh we left out of jfk.we stayed at the sheraton. i thought it was great. it's a little cheaper than the hyatt or princeville, but imo just as nice.

Some of our thoughts were a stop in Vegas or Disneyland (we're Walt DIsney World addicts - got engaged there) ...
