hawaii hotel recommendations

I've stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach twice and am going back. It's a great hotel. Nothing special, but it is right on the beach, it's across from the international market, it's right in the heart of Waikiki and you can't beat Dukes in the hotel for cocktails, live music and food.

I've also been to the Hyatt Regency in Maui. We loved it so much, we're going back for the HM. Years ago I had also stayed at the Sheraton Black Rock on Maui. It actually has the nicest beach of all the hotels on Kaanapali and great snorkeling.

Honestly, it's Hawaii - you can't go wrong. Find what works in your budget.

I've also heard amazing things about the Fairmont and Four Seasons on Maui. They both seem amazing but we like to stay closer to Lahaina.

im staying at the hilton hawaiin village...it looks like so much fun it's like it's own little city

we are going to maui too...since i know we are going to be exploring, we didn't mind not going to a 5 star hotel to save some money so we chose the pineapple inn...a cute place in a great location
