Hawaii- how many days?

Hi girls!
Maybe I should have posted on Newlywed side too...
I have a honeymoon debacle! We are getting married on 10-18-03, and a friend from college is getting married on Halloween, (2 fridays after us). We had originally been talking about going to Aruba for a week for our honeymoon in order to be back in time for their wedding, and we had thought that Hawaii was such a long trip that 10 days might not be enough when jet lag is figured in... well.. my FI (I think that is the abbreviation on here for Fiance??) is currently in Hawaii for work (I know, rough life!!) And he is now obsessed with the idea of going there for our HM. My question is, is 10 days enough to not feel rushed in seeing a few islands- AND to have relaxation time as well.... HELP!!! Thanks in advance!!

we were there for 2 weeks and saw 3 islands....i would have liked a couple of more days in oahu, otherwise it was fine....but in 10 days you might be better off sticking to 2 islands...

I agree, I'm doing 10 nights, only 2 islands, if I wanted more islands, I would do at least a full 2 weeks.

I went for 11 nights to 3 islands. I think that as long as you stick to no more then 1 or 2 islands you will have a great time. Anymore island hopping then that and you'll be spending way too much time in airports!

We went to Hawaii for 2 weeks. We stayed in Kuaii for 5 days, Maui for 5 days and 2 days in Oahu. Although, we had a wonderful time, we were ready to come back the last few days. If I were to do it again, I would book the trip for 10 days. I think it is plenty of time. Good luck!

I went to Hawaii in October of this year for 10 days. I think it is plenty of time if you only do 2 islands. Of course I wanted to stay longer but I always feel that way when I am on vacation in a beautiful place. We saw and did alot. Plus spend a couple days just lounging by the pool. It was great.

I did Maui and Kauai. I would do either 5 days each or Maui 6 and Kauai 4. I think the only thing we didn't get to do was the pearl harbor History thing because we did not go to Oahu. I went in hs and remember being really bored. DH wanted to do it but didn't want to extend the trip just for that so we decided against it. He wasn't disappointed or upset when we got back at all.
