Hawaii in January..what to wear? chilly??

Hello. I got married 12/7. We are going to Kauai, Oahu and San Fran for our honeymoon on 1/19. Has anyone gone to Hawaii on Jan. HOw was the weather? I dont know how to dress. The internet says average high 80degrees.. but was your experiences that it was mostly 70s and are the evenings cooler?
I need wardrobe help! Thanks

I went to Hawaii late December and it was SOOOO hot... so I am assuming that in jan. it will be the same. FH is actually in Hawaii right now w/ the family for Christmas and they say it has been in the 80's... At night it can get a little cooler so you may want to bring a sweatshirt hoodie or long sleeve shirts. But the weather is going to be beautiful. I remember how WARM it was when we left Hawaii and then we returned to ny and it was SNOWING... Have a geat time...Hawaii is beautiful!
