Hawaii - Mauna Kea Beach Resort - Help!

Going next month and I am totally torn between the Mauna Kea and the Fairmont Orchid. Has anyone stayed at the Mauna Kea? If so, please let me know what you thought of it. Need as much advice as possible in order to make a decision.

Thanks a bunch!!
