So I am having a really hard time deciding if we should go on our honeymoon in Hawaii or take a trip to Europe and see both Paris and Greece, and the greek islands. Does anyone have any advice on what would be a better honeymoon? Thanks so much:)

Nobody can help you on this - it really depends on your tastes
One thing to possibly consider though, is that European countries get very hot in the summertime ... i've never been though so i'm not speaking from experience.

Personally, I would go with Paris & Greece. Although I have to say that if you do decide to do a European HM, most of it will be spent sightseeing and not really relaxing - whereas is you were doing Hawaii, it would be more relaxing - just because it is known for that. However, if you do ddecide to do Europe, I would suggest a cruise because you get to see more of every country. If you do one country for a few days and then another for another set of time, you end up traveling out of a suitcase and that is more annoying, to me at least, than words can say, so I wouldn't want to do that for my HM.

I did a greek cruise this summer with a group of family and friends and it was amazing!!!
we are doing hawaii for the HM because its more relaxing than running around Europe in the heat for two weeks, but it all depends on what you want to do.

it really depends on what you want to do on your HM...i personally would pick paris and greece b/c once they kiddies come those are harder to travel to and really enjoy.

Thanks for the advice. I think a cruise is a good idea and the best option if we did greece since it would be difficult getting around etc. Hawaii seems like it would be more relaxing, which I think may be the deal breaker:)

Just monitor the political situation in Greece. There have been a lot of riots and protests recently. Just something to consider

I haven't posted but i just had to when i saw this topic. But we are going to paris and greece for our honeymoon. We are so excited b/c we feel we are going to be getting the best of both worlds. We will be relaxing on the greek islands but also sight seeing in paris and some of greece. Let me know if you have any questions, we just booked everything and we cant wait

hawaii is known for relaxation and beaches... but Greece has amazing beaches too! The good (and bad) thing about Greece is that it offers so much more to do/sites to visit that it's hard to just lay back and relax.
i tend to agree with nic2011 too - i'd go to Paris/Greece before the kiddies come!

My FH is leaning towards Hawaii also, he thinks it will be more relaxing. Why did your FH want to do Hawaii over Greece?

We went to greece...it was awesome!! We had to spend one night in Athens tho, which wasn't that great b/c we were there when the bank bombing occured and the protests and civil unrest was going on. Santorini is beautiful and you have to see that island.
