we picked St. Lucia over Hawaii because I am not a good flyer, and when you go to Hawaii you have to fly from island to island, I would love to go to Hawaii one day but I did not want the stress of worrying about getting a plane on my HM.

Hawaii! We are going to St. Lucia (and we are so excited), however, if we had the money, and I had enough time off, I would have definitely chosen Hawaii!

I think it depends on the weather - we opted away from St lucia for 2 reasons.....mainly where we wanted to stay and the cost and also, we were a tiny bit skeptical about the hurricaine season.......(main reason was that the room and place we wanted to stay at was coming in over 13k for like 9 days.....) - it was a bit more than we wanted to spend since we decided to go to Europe for a month next summer (italy and Greece)
We looked into Hawaii and that was our runner up, but we know how crazy expensive the food and excursions can get there....
if you have the money and can deal with the flight, I would totally go to Hawaii!!! If not, trust me, St Lucia is gorgeous as well!

we picked Hawaii. i felt like there was more to do, st lucia is mostley hanging out at the beach, or doing athletic type stuff. My FH doesnt swim so we are planing to take some tours instead of sitting on the beach for a week.

Both will be amazing! IMO the decision comes down to what you are looking for, do you want to spend an entire day each way traveling? How much time do you have to go? Will you be island hoping or staying in one place in Hawaii? Excursions vs. being beach bums? I've only been to the Big Island and prefer the Caribbean over it for like a 1 week beach getaway type trip. But Hawaii is totally worth the experience, the culture is fab. Can't go wrong either way.
