Hawaii Question

Those of you going to Hawaii- how many nights are you going for?

I want to go for 12, we are splitting Maui and Kauai, but the prices are so high we may have to cut out a night or two....

Just curious what you think is too little time considering it is such a long flight!

7 days not counting your arrival and departure day. If you are stuck for time, why not pic one island....Ive been to Kuaui its amazing. spent 9 days. yes flight is looooong. we flew into LA, 3 hour layover then straight to kuaui. well worth the trip.

We went for 11 nights and flew direct into Honolulu from Newark on Continental, stayed there one night then flew to Maui for 5 nights and then to Kauai for 4 nights and back to Honolulu for our last night. It was a dream come true.
I would say try to get as many nights as you can. Hey I would go for a weekend if I could go back

We're going for 12 nights. Flying from LAX straight to Kauaii and then from there we go to Maui for the second half of the trip. A lot of flights take you to Honolulu, but it's nice if you can get it straight to the first island you plan to visit.
