Hawaii & Tahiti/BoraBora/Moorea

We are having some honeymoon decision problems... there are so many places to go but we cant decide what to do!!
we want relaxation but adventure at the same time..
has anyone done hawaii & tahiti in one trip? We are looking at a 14 day trip...
good thing or too much?

i havent done it but that seems like a lot of traveling.

If your budget allows, i'd stick to strictly tahiti/moorea/bora bora. Its not only a trip of a lifetime but it offers the best beaches in the world ( or lagoons) great romantic restuarants and there are alot of excursions and things to do on each island. I think it offers the best balance between rest relaxation and adventure.

make Hawaii your first anniversary trip!!
trust me after the wedding, you dont to pack every 3 days for 14 days.

if you do tahiti, you can space it out between 4-5 days each island.

thats more than enough traveling you'll want to do on your honeymoon!

I don't think a 14 day trip is too much at all...if you can afford it - GO FOR IT! It's your honeymoon....I think it's great. A 2 week honeymoon is pretty normal....a lot of people do it.

I'm going to Moorea, Bora Bora, and Tahaa for 13 nights in March. We're really looking forward to it!

Hawaii is great too but you can probably get back there at some other point in your life. Tahiti is like a once in a lifetime trip!

hawaii and tahiti seems kinda unreasonable in that span...too much packing unpacking...


id rather spend quality time in tahiti/bora bora

my friend did a week in maui (hawaii) and a week in bora bora (tahiti) it was a lot of flying but that was her dream honeymoon, so they did it!

Dh and i opted for Tahiti- we felt like we could go to hawaii any time.

I went to Hawaii and totally recommend it

Kaui 4 nights
Maui 7 nights
big Island 3 nights

we're planning on 1 week in BB and Moorea and a week in Maui...my TA looked at me and said are you sure....i was like...uh yeah!

That is a lot of flying for a honeymoon.

I would recommend one or the other.

We felt we could go to Hawaii anytime so we chose Tahiti/Moorea/Bora Bora.
