Was it any different / better than any of the carribbean islands?
What was different / amazing about Hawwaii?
Can you compare Hawaii to any of the Caribbean islands (similarities)?
Obviously this is a contender for our honeymoon. I just would like to know from some of you who have actually been there, and not a travel agent who wants to make money off of me.

Re: Hawaii XPOST
I am going there for our honeymoon. I have never been, however, I have lots of family and friends who have been to both the Caribbean and Hawaii and they say that Hawaii is gorgeous and there is no comparison. Very different populations as well. Very well kept.

My mom says Hawaii is alright but that's because she's been to Tahiti and nothing compares to Tahiti. My fiance said he's been on a cruise through Hawaii and he wants to go back because he feels that the ship limited him to not being able to see everything. In my opinion, if he wants to go back, it must be good!! I've been to Tahiti already so maybe Hawaii may not be as amazing for me as for him but I think it would be better than the Caribbean. We are contemplating going there for the honeymoon too.

Tahiti is out of our budget, but I've always wanted to to to Hawaii. there is a cruise that takes you to different islands, and I've been advised that in order to really see Hawaii, you should stay at different islands. Budget wise, taking a cruise is the smartest way for us to see the different islands of Hawaii. We can always go back for anniversaries when we are more finacially established.

Well what I meant was that FH went on a cruise to Hawaii and liked it but felt that he didn't get a chance to see enough of the islands, so we are thinking of going there for our honeymoon and staying on the islands so we can both see the islands and as much of it as possible. I was just mentioning that I know two people who have been there. One says its great and the other says it's ok, but I just wanted you to know why it was only ok. If you can do a cruise and it is in your budget I think it will be a good taste and then you could see if you want to go back (because it takes so long to get there). However if you can afford to stay on the islands, maybe you might be better off doing so.
