Hawaiian Cruise

Has anyone done this? My FI just called and I was telling him that I narrowed our HM down to two places (Golden Crown Paradise Spa or El Dorado Seaside Suites). Then he told me that a guy in his fire house just came back from a hawaiian cruise around all the islands. just wondering how it was and if its worth doing instead of just going to one of the resorts in mexico. I've been on a south caribbean cruise before and at the end of next year we are going on another caribbean cruise with the volunteer fire department.

We did a Hawaiian Cruise and loved it.

We used NCL, and they had a few problems with the boat, but other than that it was great. We got to see 5 different places and do lots of fun excursions.

We stayed in Oahu for the first 3 nights then did 10 days around the islands.

We stayed in Oahu at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The hotel itself was really nice, but I wasn't overly fond of the area we stayed in. But we were mostly sleeping the first couple of days trying to get our internal clocks right again!!

Then we went on Norwegian Wind for their 10 day cruise. There were some problems with the engine, so we had some issues getting to some ports on time, but the rest was great.

We splurged on an Owner's Suite (there are pics of the room in the slideshow) it had a separate living room and private balcony and huge walk in closet. It was really nice.

In Maui we did a helicopter ride and a sunset sail - it was our favorite day.

In Hilo we did the Volcanoes National Park Tour

In Kauai we did the Waimea Canyon Tour

In Kona we did a catamaran Snorkel.

And in Oahu we did Pearl Harbor.

They were all really good tours.

I checked the www.ncl.com and it didn't show any cruises for May. I hope its wrong. i'm really into do this now.
