Are you using a travel agent to book the trip? If you are who are you using? If you are not why arent you. Im trying to weigh all my options. Thanks!

Re: Hawaiian Honeymooners
I booked our March Hawaii honeymoon myself. Got a good rate on flights on continental.com. Plus, when you book online you get bonus miles.
As for hotels, I did a lot of research online --particularly on www.fodors.com. I asked people I know who've been there for recommendations.
I consulted my corporation's travel agent. SHe was no help -- couldn't get me any better deals than I could get myself on each hotel's website. BUt she's not exactly the greatest or most experienced agent.
Once I saw the rates on the hotel websites, I called their reservations depts and booked it over the phone. Just seemed safer to me to speak to a real person in their reservations dept -- plus, they can put a note in the system that you are a honeymooner (a good travel agent can do this for you too).
If you do a little research on sites like fodors, travelocity or expedia, you'll get a sense of the going rates for flights and hotels. So if you decide to go with a travel agent, you will have an idea of reasonable prices.
Good luck!
