If you are going on a honeymoon to hawaii to visit multiple islands, how did you book it?? is it best to go to a travel agent?

I booked it thru my mom....it was def the way to go she was able to get be a great deal since they wk with diff whole salers and you sometimes get upgrades at hotels once you get there since the agent can request it...

Book all my own travel usually. I tried doing it on my own... but it is hard with all of the inter-island flights. I shouldn't say 'hard', but can be frustrating.
I used a TA... he was able to score a better deal than I did in 75% less time saving us at least a grand. We're visiting 3 islands with lots of flights. I think its the way to go. Also...they can really be a great resource and point of contact while on vacay. You don't need to stress, you need to de-stress on the HM. Having someone else deal with kinks is better than you getting frustrated.
