hey i posted on the bhb bored as well...but please help me we want to go for two weeks how many islands should we do and which ones and where should we stay???thanks

We are going for three weeks. We are going to Kuaui, Maui, Oahu, and the Big Island. FI did all the hotels and I don't remember any of them.

I am staying for 11 nights and doing Kauai for the first half and Maui for the 2nd. hth
If you are going for two weeks, try to do at least three islands. We are going for 11 days, and staying on Maui, Kaui, and Oahu.
I would at least see Oahu and Maui. They are the most popular islands, and there is lots to do on both. Now for the rest of the trip I would choose to either go to Kaui or the Big Island. These islands are more for the views and sight seeing. They are both suppose to be beautiful and what you envisioned Hawaii to be like. Research some hotels on both islands. The Princeville and the Hyatt in Kaui, seem to be the mose popular. We are staying at the Hyatt. If we were to stay on the Big island, I would of booked the Four Seasons. I saw it on the travel channel, and it looks amazing!!
Hotels in Oahu- Hyatt (If you stay at a least two Hyatts, you get a great discount that includes car rental and Buffett Breakfast. The Halukelani looks like a amazing hotel. It is voted one of Hawaiis best hotels.
Maui- Four Seasons, Grand Waliea, Fairmount kea lani, Hyatt.

i am also going for 2 wks and am going to kauai, maui, and oahu. in kauai you should stay at either the hyatt or the princeville. maui and oahu have many great hotels.

We are going to maui for 5 night and kauai for 5 nights and before we come home, we are going to sonoma / napa valley for 3 nights. So I think you could comfortably do 3 islands in 2 weeks. I wouldn't do more than that (you do want to relax on your HM).
