HD Videographer

Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if you girls could help me out. I'm getting married on May 24, 2009 at VYC and I'm looking for an inexpensive HD videographer. I've already booked my photographer, but they don't do video also. Must offer high-def. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I think B rett Matthews offers HD video, but they're on the more expensive side.

We used Bellarino Video ...not sure if they offer HD, but worth an email or a call to find out.

Thanks girls...I'm meeting with Rambling Rose tonight and I met with Steve from Forever Video recently. Anyone heard anything about them?

I haven't met with them yet but I heard Halo is pretty good and affordable. Starting package is $995.

Bumping this thread.....

Any other HD videographer suggestions?
Seems kinda weird to me that more studios aren't offering it. Would you want your memories captured in the best quality possible?

FH and I went to Proline, Sherwood Triart, and Patken for photo this weekend. We also checked out their videos, but only Proline offers HD for now. Even though it will probably cost more, we want HD since that were is where the technology is now. We just got these weird looks from some of the studios when we asked about HD, like it's not so out there, but I understand if you don't have the equipment yet.

HD IS gaining popularity in video but imo, it would be useless if the editing is not done right. i mean, yeah it's in HD but the whole video ***** (u know what i mean?)

if your going for HD, go for the whole package then - get a cinematic video package with HD!

Oh defintiely about the editing, otherwise we'd just get someone we know with an HD video camera to record. That's the other hard part, finding a studio whose editing we like too.
