He did it!!!

We went to captain bill's tonight for dinner. We wanted to check out the food because they are very high on our list for reception halls. We spoke with Shannon there and she was much nicer to work with than the previous person, so that made us happy, and we confirmed the fact that we liked the Bayview house room, and after eating dinner we decided the food was outrageous, so, we decided that unless something falls in our laps by January that we like better, that we would book there.

So, dessert comes, and he asks if I think this would be a good place for our reception, I say yes, and he then asks, well, then, do you think it would be a good place to get engaged? And he pulls out the ring!!!!!!! He then said a few other sweet things that went in one ear and out the other, and of course I said yes, and he put the ring on!!!

FINALLY!!!!!

BTW, the ring we picked out together, and is saphire with two smaller round diamonds on the side, in white gold. I LOVE IT, and he is ok too i guess

Thanks ladies. We did not officially book them yet, we are planning on booking in January, so that gives me time to make sure, but I am 99% sure they will be it. I checked some dates with them, and they had a ton of dates around when I want, so I am not all that worried. Mom will be in NY over Christmas so I will take her there to get her feedback before we decide for sure.

Good morning ladies.. First thing I did this morning was call him back to bed to cuddle.. (he always gets up before me) then I got out of bed, with my sweats and t-shirt and put on my new RING!!! After my dance around the living room I came to my computer to see that in the wee hours of the morning mom had Instant messangered me with three different ebay links for saphire earrings she wants to buy me.(trying to find ones to match my ring, which she hasn't even SEEN yet!!) SHE is an ADDICT!!!! I think she is going to be an excellent MOB, and I also called my sister and my best friend and immediately told them that I hope and expect that they will be in my bridal party and nobody else will do, and they were so happy for me and can't wait to get started!!!!!

It's such a great feeling, I'm still in awe of my ring. You will have so much fun showing it off and staring at it, while you're at work, at home, driving, whatever, it will take you a while before you can stop.
