So i have to give my final head count in 2 days, should I lessen it by a couple or assume everyone will show?????

Absolutely give the correct count. It would be embarresing if you didn't have enough seats.

Personally I wouldn't lowball the number. It will get very hectic rearranging the seating plan on the day of.

No, give the right count. You are better off being OVER than below, because they plan the meals and you don't want to be short. You are less likely to have any problem if fewer than your count show up than more . . . .

Well, you might get no-shows (I had a lot!) so you don't want to end up having to pay for extra plates. I didn't have this issue because I was already under my minimum so it didn't matter. But if I hadn't been, I probably would have given a lower number if you think any of your guests may not show. The hall has extra meals on hand anyway. And it's better to have to pay for a few extra plates at the end of the night than to pay for people who didn't show up. If you think all your guests will definitely show up, then just give the exact count.
