What if a guest who said they weren't going to come to the wedding comes at the last minute and you've already paid for the headcount you gave the RH....How do you pay for extra guests the day of the wedding? Does anybody know if they let you charge it? TIA

I wouldn't wait till the day of the wedding. I would call your hall and tell them to add as soon as you can.

They'll def. charge it. A friend of mine is a banquet manager at Capt Bills and she said they do counts when they serve meals. They know how many meals go out and how many ppl u pay for. They'll let you know if you need to pay more

i think it depends on the RH and the maitre'd. I was told the opposite, they said if they get like 2-4 extra people or anything like that, some of the maitre'd in there wont charge you that night, they say they'll just let it go if its just a few people. They said theyre not gonna sit there and do the paperwork that night or bother the bride for like 2 extra people
all depends on who you get or the RH

my rh had a clause in the contract stating that if they final headcount does not match up, if there were an extra person, you'd be charged more than the original price pp for that extra person. they strongly discourage changing the headcount the night of, because it could create an embarassing situation -- having to reset a table in front of everyone. I'd call it in asap.

maybe i'm just mean, but if somebody tried to show up last minute, I'd probably apologize but tell them that it's too late. Once the final count is into the RH, that's it. I'm not playing around with that.
