Head piece and trial question

Head piece and trial question

Which did you do first? Did you pick out headpiece and veil first or do your hair trial first? The place where I got my dress told me hair trial first. The hair salon told me head piece first so that they have something to work around-- which to be honest makes the most sense. Also do you get to take your headpiece and veil home with you the day you pick it out or do you have to order that too?

Please help I am confused and tired?

Re: Head piece and trial question

i believe that you have to get your headpiece first so you know what direction your hair should go.
when picking out your headpiece i would think you have an idea if you want up or down hair and be guided accordingly when looking at the headpiece.

I think you have to order the headpiece not buy and take home. although it depends where you buy it. My sister went to manhattan and had it ordered b/c she designed her own.
i hope this helps

I would pick the head piece and veil you love with your dress, and then work on which hair styles go with what you chose.

I'm sure this is done differently all the time. Last weekend I had a hair trial - I felt I needed to get on the ball or I would lose the good stylists - I didn't have my tiara yet, but I figured I'd do it then anyway. After my trial, I went to Patchouge Floral and tried on tons of headpieces (it was great b/c I had my hair done and I could see exactly how it would look).

I had to order the headpiece - I will get it in 4-6 weeks.

If you happen to find a headpiece first great! I just wanted to make sure I got a good stylist regardless of the final hairdo.

I bought my headpiece and then I booked a trial.

First do a hair trial and then look for a headpiece, otherwise you can waste your money by buying a piece that won't work for the hairstyle you want.

I think you have to decide the hair first...

there are TONS of head pieces in every shape and size...you just have to do some searching...

but I bought a bunwrap...not knowing what it was...and then decided I didn't want that style...I only picked it b/;c it matched the dress...
