Heading to the Hamptons this weekend for my BM's wedding at Atlantica...UPDATED

Any Atlantica brides out there???? Would you like me to keep an eye on certain things for you?

** UPDATE **

Well ladies, I attended a Friday wedding at the Atlantica. The venue is beautiful, but unfortunately the weather made it very hard to appreciate the surrounding beauty. It rained and stormed and there was a dense fog, but the ballroom is truly beautiful and one of a kind... and the service...all I can say is that it was IMPECCABLE! The service was amazing and the food was good (my salmon was a little too lemony, but FH's sirloin was pretty good). This bride did not have food at her cocktail hour, so I cant comment too much on the food. But the service was the best (I can compare it to Russo's on the Bay).

The only glitch- the valet service...they took our car when we arrived, but when we were leaving they just gave us the keys and told us to fetch the car ourselves...we had to look for our car in the dark parking lot...not very nice at all...so my advice to the future brides would be, pay for a valet service so that your guests dont have to run around searching for their car in the dark.

Thanks so much for that update...I appreciate it, I would hate to have my guests running around in the dark!
I do believe it is included in the package, but having no food at the cocktail hour might mean the bride did a totally different package..perhaps sort of ala carte with the services they provide...
thanks again!

My sister had her wedding at Atlantica...It is not your typical wedding venue. They don't have your typical cocktail hour where there are a million stations set up. My sister's cocktail hour consisted of COCKTAILS and passed hor d'oeuvres. There was plenty to go around. Beleive me it was worth it...The food was delicious and the general concencus was that everyone was glad they hadn't had too much at the cocktail hour to fill them up and prevent them from eating their delicious entree and dessert. Trust me, what's passed around is plenty. The food is EXCELLENT. There were people asking for second helpings...The table next to mine actually stole the cake off of the neighboring table who had left early! It is awesome food! My only warning is if you are getting the peppercorn crusted sirloin...While the meat is delicious, some people who don't enjoy spice were surprised by the peppery crust and couldn't tolerate it. I thought it was great but to someone with a more bland palate it could present a problem. ENJOY!!
