I still haven't gotten a veil or tiara and one of my BMs has been houding me every week that I have to get this done. What do I need to bring with me? I'm not going to buy it where I got my dress, so I'm not sure what to do so that I know that it matches perfectly. Any advice?

can you get a swatch of fabric with the design maybe???
my cousin gave me mine ( cause she owned the shop where i got my dress) but gave me a swatch with my beading to go get shoes and jewlery

Why is she hounding you ?? I ordered my veil @ my 1st fitting 7 weeks before the wedding, and just got my headpiece type of thing today - My wedding is 5/20/05 !! Take your time !! You don't have to rush into buying anything. - Personally, I think it helps if you have an idea of how you want your hair ......... Good Luck !!

You have time, but bring a photo of your dress if possible....I just got mine, but thought I was way ahead of schedule....Better early than late though

She's actually being really helpful and she is more organized than I am so she has been more on top of things than I am. It's very good to know that I have some time. I was starting to get worried that I am behind on things, you know? How long can I wait and still be 'safe'?

I think it all depends on YOUR comfort level. - I was fine just waiting until I found something I really liked - Even if it was 2 days before the wedding......But that would make other girls break out in hives....... - Just keep in mind if you want to have something custom made, you should give yourself at least 2 months ........Don't worry - You have plenty of time to find what you ReALLY love !

Dont worry - you have time. I went to Barrons for my headpiece and she told me i dont have to come back until September for the veil!!

Don't worry you have time search the hairstyle you want and then focus on the right headpeice the veil comes afetr that.

I got mine is September (a month after I ordered my dress) but I was waaaay early!
Take your time, no need to rsuh. I dont know why this person is giving you such a heard time. Most pieces, even if they need to be ordered. dont take more than a month to come in.
