Headpiece Question

I already have my headpiece, but when I had my last hair appt. with my hairdresser, who is also doing my wedding hair, I told her that my headpiece didn't have combs attached to it, and she seemed surprised. I'm going back to her for my first hair trial at the end of June so I was wondering if anyone can tell me how they secured there headpiece without combs. Perhaps bobbi pins?

My headpiece is actually more like a head band, so it might not be a problem anyway, but i was just curious!
