headpiece! w/photos

Never in a million years did I think I would be able to afford a Thomas Knoell headpiece ... but I thought my mom and I would just go to get ideas. Lo and behold, we found the exact comb I wanted in their sample sale items...

We also found a simple headpiece, called Lace, with crystals and Colorado Topaz in it and we basically created a custom couture headpiece. Better yet, because they're separate pieces, when I take my veil off for the reception, I can just use the comb!

Then my mom surprised me by buying it for me as a present...I wanted to burst into tears.

Best part, you know how you just KNOW when something is right? As I was trying on the two pieces to see how they'd look together, my wedding song came on and there was no music on when we first went into the showroom...we were the only ones in there and it was silent. Then...my song.

Turns out, the women working there had just emailed me on this site to see if I'd found the headpiece I was looking for and suggested I stop in for a look. That was 10 mins before I walked inside -- without knowing they'd emailed me on LIW!

Thanks Jess!!!! They actually let us name it after my fiance's mom, who died 10 years ago. We plan to name our first daughter -- if we have a girl -- after her so basically TK has helped us create a custom heirloom. I just cannot believe it.

Also, they're changing out the pearls to stones and crystals for me bec I don't have any pearls on my dress. They're even fixing up the sample sale item to make it NEW. Unreal service....
