Headpieces (NYC)
There are a bunch of places in NYC that sell at 'wholesale' prices. They may not be the designer names, but there are lots to chose from. These are not bridal stores, but accessory stores. Try 6th Avenue between 35th and 37th and on Broadway in the low 30's/high 20's. You can pick up a rhinestone headpiece at $25(!) There is a place on Broadway called 'Tomato' that also has veils and material & flower headpieces. The name sounds wierd, but they had a huge selection.
Usually you would put it on either your homeowner's policy, or a renter's policy. I don't know if anyone will insure just the ring. Somebody probably does. I'd check with your current insurance carrier first.
