Headpieces

Headpieces

I was just at Barron's at the Tri-County Flea Market for the past 1 1/2 hours trying on headpieces. Was anyone else extremely overwhelmed by this experience? I know that I have plenty of time before I need to purchase one, but making a decision is so difficult, There were two pieces that I loved that my mom and I thought would complement my dress beautifully and then this woman who didn't even work there walked up and said that she dressed brides for a living and that both pieces would be too overpowering. Did anyone else have difficulty making this seemingly simple decision...lol?

I went there and found that was so far the easiest thing I had to do. It was almost calling for me and with my luck it was the last one.. So you know I had to buy it.

I looked for headpieces for months before I finally found one. My problem was that I had my heart set on a tiara but I couldn't find one that I liked. I decided to try a comb that I thought was pretty and I fell in love!

I never thought I wouldn't get a tiara. (Hope that made sense) You have to keep a very open mind, when you find the one you will know!

Yes, I was the girl with the hairpiece...lol. Were you the girl who was there and I commented on how I wished I could've picked out my headpiece and veil as quickly and effortlessly as you? You were with a blond lady and 2 other women?

Re: Headpieces

There were 2 that I kept going back and forth between...one was about 1 1/2 inches thick and the crystals were uniform throughout the band, but it didn't really have thin ends that stuck into your hair. The other had a peak in the middle. I was leaning toward the 1st the saleslady was trying to talk me into the 2nd b/c she thought since my gown is a v-neck that it would be more complimentary.

I really liked the one that had the uniform crystals, with less of a band that goes into you hair!

Re: Headpieces

Thank you for all of your good wishes and advice ladies. I am going to try my gown on again next week so I can see what tiara styles look best with it and then ultimately I want to go back to Barron's and purchase it from them. They really were super helpful.
