I am taking the veil off, but not the tiara. I am having my make up artist/hairlady come with me to teh church and them to the reception to remove it for me. I might have her remove it during my formal pictures so I can have some with the veil and some without the veil.

Re: Headpieces
I kept the veil (fingertip length) and tiara on. I felt so 'bridal'!! But my veil attached to the back of my hair. If I had worn it waterfall, I might have taken the veil off to show the updo.

Re: Headpieces
This is my tiara (but I'm wearing a different veil and I'm wearing the veil in the back - not the front) I'm going to try to keep the whole thing on for the entire mass and reception but if it gets annoying, I'll take off the veil and leave the tiara.

Re: Headpieces
I'm not sure what I'm doing for a headpiece - my veil is a Mantilla, so I have to see how I'm going to attach it. I will most likely take the mantilla off after the ceremony...and either have real flowers or crystal flowers in my hair - depending on how I'm going to wear it. Well gee, that was just soooooooo helpful. (sorry)

Re: Headpieces
Here's mine. Im probably leaving it on the whole night, unless it get uncomfortable
I'm with Jennbaby - I figure you only get one chance ot wear a 'crown' and veil once in your life - I'm oging to make the most of it! I'm keeping both veil and tiara on all day long! Of course, I'm planning on wearing an elbow length veil so it won't be too much! i can't wait though - i love feeling like a princess!!!

Re: Headpieces
i don't have a picture, but it is a two-tiered (one cathedral, longer than my train & a short one that goes down to my belly button) veil. no headpiece. i'll attach it to my low bun. i'm taking it off after the church. also having flowers like marcella. just ordered them. found the website from one of the girls here, if anyone is interested (come to think of it, it was probably from shamma).
