Heads Up!

Just a reminder .. even though you get a green light .. make sure you check for idiots who think red lights do not apply to them.

I once had a giant truck go screaming through an intersection .. despite an astonishing lapse in time after the light-change .. I was fortunate to have been another several seconds behind .. otherwise I may not have been able to stop in time from getting hit .. on my green light.

And just the other night .. again .. I'm sitting at a red light .. it turns green for me .. but a car is not slowing down for what is now a red light for him .. he keeps going right on through the red light without ever slowing down. If I had jumped on my gas as soon as I got the green light, I would have been smack in front of him as he sailed through his red light.

So, PLEASE .. watch the intersections before going through a green light!


Of course, I once was sitting at a red light .. it turned green .. and the guy next to me got rear-ended hard by the guy behind him, who tried to jump the light .. despite having that car in front of him!!!

You just can't win!
