Heads up to October brides

If you are going to be getting someone to do your makeup, you might want to start looking now. It took me a hell of a time to find someone who is available for my date. They are already booked for October, but I am happy with my choice.

I just contacted fresh face forward and they do not book this far in advance, just an fyi. I am having a trial with a friend who i work with, she does makeup for commercials, if anyone wants her info FM me. She doesn't do a ton of brides so she is most likely available.

I contacted FFF also and I was also told they won't take October brides until March. I didn't want to wait that long to book. Good luck.

You can prob go to a mac store and see if any of the girls there do it. I used to work in cosmetics and i know a lot of the girls would be willing to do weddings outside of work.

You are getting married on my 1 year anniversary! Great wedding date!

I agree, I started looking for a MUA last year in January and it was CRAZY how many of them were booked. I got reallllly lucky that Mia was still available and I loved how she did my and my mom's hair and makeup!

I called Mia and she was available for my dates, but from the message she left on my VM, I guess she didn't want to work with me. And I am still waiting on her to return my second call. But like I said, I am really happy with the girl I booked and I know Mia does beautiful works, so someone else will benefit.

Yeah, someone mentioned this last week so I've been on a mission to start looking. I just had a trial tonight actually and love it. FH was even impressed and he doesn't like make up.

I booked Oksana for makeup (and Jenn for hair) about 2 weeks ago....I'm very excited that I've gotten those vendors out of the way b/c I was worried everyone was going to book up quickly
