FI and I have insurance through our parents until Decemeber 31, a month after we are married. The problem is he is looking to start his own business and I will be subbing, so how are we going to get health insurance? It would be too costly to pay for it, do we need to get second jobs?

If he starts his own biz, he can set it up through that for both of you. I am self employed and have Vytra Smart Start program. Its the cheapest I could find but also doesn't provide very extensive coverage.
Yes, its expensive, everything in NY is.
