At my WW meeting, my leader told us about this recipe. I went home and tried it and it was really good. She said that it has a lot of fiber. She thought it would be a great chocolate snack.
Recipe: 1 box of brownie mix 1 can of black beans (drain and purre) 1 cup of water
*follow the rest of the directions on the box. Spray pan and cook according to what the box says. Don't add eggs or oil. Just add these three ingredients.
So, I tried it and it was good. It doesn't taste like it has beans in it at all. It taste like a 'low fat' snack. Try it, it was good.

Re: Healthy Brownie Recipe
Sorry, that sounds horrible.
And all you're taking out of there is an egg and some oil. The oil, sure isn't good for you, but you still have all the stuff in the brownie mix.

Re: Healthy Brownie Recipe
WW has a way of taking strange things and mixing them together to taste good - I do the pre-packed pumpkin muffins all the time - and the diet coke cake... I'll give it a try - just got back on the WW track - Have 30-40 pounds to lose before next summer

Re: Healthy Brownie Recipe
WOW!!! BEANS????? that scares me.. lol lol lol... although I did use the pumpkin choc cake recipe and i swear it was good... it's water, the canned pumpkin and choc cake mix... and nothing else and it works great!! It's a bit more DRY than regular choc. cake.. but hey.. when you need to eat a dessert and you want to cut down the cals.. this is a good one
Now i have to work up the courage to throw beans in my brownies hehehehehehehe
