Healthy snacks....

What are some healthy snacks you eat between meals? I never know what to bring to work for when I get that afternoon craving.

Well I am a muncher, so anything that's crunchy helps me:

My favorites are:

Chocolate Chip Rice Cakes - satisfies the cookie craving

Onion & Garlic Soy Chips - satisfies the potato chip craving

Both come in a variety of flavors... I also like granola bars - which satisfies my chocolate bar craving...

So as you can see I CRAVE A LOT!

A carrot or an apple, just doesn't cut it for me

Applesauce , individual cans of naturally sweetened fruit cups, pretzels, grape tomatoes, I sometimes dip fat free italian dressing in slices of veggies, chicken broth (instant) , popcorn, if I have enough points- turkey bacon( 3 slices = 1 point) microwaved on, light bread(2 slices=1 point) , with lettuce and tomato, froze fruit bar, fat free cool whip with sugar free jello. I have learned to like a lot of these snacks, I say to myself, is the high fat stuff worth the calories and the points?

Maybe if there is a freezer at work you can bring in sugar-free fudgcicles or popcicles...

I always snack on them at home

If your on the go, and you want a quick snack/meal are the Balance Bars or Luna bars, those are great meal substitutes that go along with the nutrition info I FM'ed you, because they have the protein along with the carb and fat.
