I have been to a tasting at both. But no cocktail hour was served at Oheka. What did you think of Oheka's cocktail hour. Did the place leave yu speachless or was it just like any other catering hall?

I was so much more impresed with the setting at Oheka and the service was great. My friends pics came out so gorgeous! Especially in August when you will be able to go outside for pics! She even let me visit her in the 'oh-my-god huge' bridal suite. It just seems to me like it is more of the fairytale. But the food at Russo's is a bit better.
Remember, if you try to plan the wedding around everyone elses happiness then no one will love it - including you. good luck

Thank you so much. I guess unfortunately since the food is better at Russo's I will have to go that route!

Trust me I understand. We are BOTH Italian on BOTH sides. Food was a huge issue for us too. Almost as huge as the $$ issue! The place that my FH really liked we had to give up b/c the food stunk!
