This is strange - for the past few days I've had a sensation like my heart skipping a beat - it feels like when you are surprised or scared suddenly. I've done a little research and it looks like this can be normal - your heart adjusting to the extra blood, oxygen, etc. Has anyone else experience anything like this?
yes I experienced that alot esp early on in the pregnancy like around 8 weeks. Im pretty sure everything will be fine. It pretty much went away for me, ocasionally I will have palpations but not as often as before.
I had them too......it went away after the baby was born.

Same thing happened to me in the beginning - also very short of breath when climbing stairs etc. The heart palps went away by 10 weeks or so.
