I've been getting pretty frequent heart palpatations for the past week.....almost like a flutter...is this normal? When I used to smoke as a teenager I would get them but I haven't smoked in about 7 years.

yes I got them too - I think its your body adjusting to hormones and increased blood flow.

I got these during my first trimester - I asked my doctor about them. Unless they are really frequent and severe they are totally normal.
I had them and I even went to a cardiologist because they were so bad.... all pregnancy related!

I got them too in the beginning of my pregnancy. I was also out of breath really easily so my OB/GYN sent me to a cardiologist just to be sure... They did a bunch of tests and had me wear a 24 hour heart monitor... Thankfully it turns out that it was all pregnancy hormone related. Even though everyone is saying its normal I would still check with your doctor to be sure...
