Does anyone know if Frank Wayne replaced Michael yet? When I booked them Michael had left the band and Frank said they were in the process of replacing him. I signed my contract for all the members without him, but Frank said I could add the replacement later and that I could come to another showcase to see the replacement. He said he expected to have that set up within 6 weeks or so. But I still haven't heard anything. I e-mailed Frank just now, but I'm wondering if anyone already knows anything. Any ideas?

Hmmm, I thought I was clear...let me try again...
Michael is the Michael Jackson impersonator formerly of Heart & Soul. He is no longer in the band. He is honoring all of the dates he booked before he left the band, though. I saw Heart and Soul at Chateau Briand in June and he was still a part of the band. I liked them but waited a while before seeing them again. I saw them again in September at Fox Hollow. Michael wasn't there. I told Frank I wanted to book the band but inquired about why Michael was not at the showcase. He told me Michael had left the band and would honor his previously booked dates, but was not booking any new dates. He did say they would be replacing MIchael with a person of a similar style. He anticipated that he woudl do this within 6 weeks. He said if I wanted to book the band, I would have to do so 'as is' - without Michael. Then, when he replaced Michael, I could have the option of later adding the replacement to my contract.
I want to know if anyone has seen Heart and Soul recently. If so, was there a new person to replace Michael? If not, has anyone spoken to Frank Wayne about whether he has made progress in replacing him.

I'm probably going to be of no help but I saw Heart & Soul a few weeks ago at a showcase at Chateau. I didnt hear or see anything that had to do with a Michael impersonator..sorry

hmmm the only people we saw (besides the instrument players/background vocals) was an older white guy and a really young girl who was just OUT OF THIS WORLD. She was so pretty and had the best voice. Everyone told her she shouldnt be singing in a wedding band and that she should be singing professionally with a record contract lol

Thanks! But I did see them perform without Michael, so I know they're still awesome without him. It would be nice to hear a little stevie wonder and MJ at the wedding though!

LOL - yeah that is Pete and Genessa - and she is AWESOME. That is really what led me to book them even without Michael - there weren't any female singers in any other band that came even close!
