i am pulling my hair out i cannot find any recent reviews for MANOR EAST everything is from a few years ago the only things my mom found were bad I really like the place going for tasting this sunday but i am sooooo worried

don't be worried, you haven't booked the place yet.
Make yourself a list of questions and ask them all and be sure to write down all of the answers.
If you feel uneasy, don;t book!

ITA with the previous poster, try and make a list of all the questions-be VERY specific. Ask them if they have any past brides that you can contact for recommendations-tell them you would like within the past year. See what they say-almost ALL places (vendors and halls) have people that will recommend them. Just make sure you get more then ONE name and number.
Good Luck, go with your gut. Just b/c she cant find a review on here does not mean that they place stinks. Its just means its not a regular place for people to book. I booked CB and I think there was only 2 or 3 reviews for it on LIW, but I had been there before for other occasions so I didnt really need a review.

my list has 30 q's that have been answered i am very organized that way but i am looking for an actual bride that has had it there or someone who was there for a wedding recently

I don't mean to be negative, just proactive...maybe you could look them up on the Better Business Bureau. I did that before I checked out a couple of places and found some negative feedback. If there is even one complaint, you can also tell whether it was resolved or not.

Also check with Consumer Affairs. they will send you the info in the mail. They list any complaints and how they were resolved for the past few yrs. It was very helpful to us in our decision.

ME AND FH WENT THERE TO CHECK IT OUT WASNT CRAZY WITH THE PLACE IT WAS A LITTLE TOO GUEIDO LOOKING FOR US BUT THE MENU AND PRICE WAS GOOD
A COWORKER GOT MARRIED THERE AND LOVED IT HOWEVER ANOTHER COWORKER THAT ATTENDED SAID THE WEDDING WAS JUST ALLRIGHT NOTHING GREAT HTH

Dont worry I am in the same boat. It seems no one is or has gotten married at the Bayveiw house. My cuz is getting married this sept. at the Manor East so I can let you know how it was.
