I remember seeing some info on heel cutting here but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where I can get this done or if this is even a good idea? I'm a tall girl and I can't seem to find nice shoes in a lower heel.

hello! I am tall as well and had to have my heel taken down a 1/2 inch....I got my dress in adriennes in Islip and there is a cobbler down the road that did it for $10.00!!! not all shoes can be done but it is worth a shot if you really love the shoes!! good luck!

I think the most you can get taken down is 1/2 inch. Any shoemaker can pretty much do this.

Wow!!! For a second I thought you were talking about when you get a pedicure and they shave the dead skin off!!!
