Heels shortened??

Heels shortened??

Has anyone ever had a shoe heel shortened? If so, where? I'm in love with a pair of shoes that I'm afraid I'll break my face in...

I just heard about this the other day from the woman who sold me my wedding gown...has anyone ever had this done? I'm planning on it but I'm curious if others have had success!

From what I've read online, it depends on how the shoe is made. So, I wanted to see if anyone had it done. I had no idea this was even possible!

I believe any shoe maker / repair shop can do this. However, I don't believe it can be done to any shoe, does depend how its made and how much you want to reduce it.

I had it done for my sisters wedding. This can be done depending on the shape of the shoe and the height. Any shoe repair shop will do it! It was well worth it.

what shop did you use? i'm thinking of bringing a pair in somewhere soon to see how it comes out so i know it'll be an option if *the* shoes turn out to be too tall

I've done this like 5 times. They can only cut a little off and sometimes nothing at all depending on the shoe. Even though it was minor it really made a difference for me. Most shoe repair places can do this. If you are near babylon FM me and I can tell you where I have gone.

I WISH I knew anything about this my FH is a foot taller than me I need all the help I can get, he's over 6' tall!

I wish I had this prob.. FH is only about an inch taller than me lol

This heel shorting is very interesting.. heels are just so ridiculously high nowadays and of course they are the 1s I love lol

Bobby is only like 1 inch taller so I'm wearing flats...gonna look for something blue to match my girls and that will be my something blue.
