hey girls! my fiance is 5'9 and i'm 5'6.. with heels i'm about even with him! i want him to be a teeny bit taller than me on wedding day... does anyone have this problem? if so, how are you handling it? thanks girls!!!

Wear flats...
I'm not being sarcastic or anything -- make sure your dress is hemmed properly at your fittings so that it will be perfect in your flats. You'll be super comfortable the whole time, and not have to worry about the height!
ITA. my FH is 5'8' and I am 5'3' and w/heels we are always same height. im not worried about it, I dont care being taller than him, but if I was I would just wear smaller heal

You can also have lifts put in his shoes to make him a little taller. My best friend did that for her husband at her wedding.

FI is 5'10 and I'm 5'6, so I'm just planning on wearing a lower heel. Although honestly it's more for comfort and the fact that I'm horribly clumsy, esp. in heels.... :)

FH is 6'1 and I'm 5'6- I am going to still wear flats because I like the difference in height as odd as that sounds.
You can get higher heals for the ceremony then change into a lower heels or flats for pictures and dancing.

I dont have a problem im 5'5 and my fiance is 6'0 and with heels im still alot shorter than him but if you want him to be alittle taller than wear a little bit shorter heel.

I plan on wearing a low heel (I'm 5'0' and FH is 5'5'/5'6'). I can't wear flats because then I'm TOO short and in heels like I usually wear we're almost the same height. I'm probably going to wear one of the shoes like someone posted above.

me and fh are pretty close, hes a shorty like between 5'6 and 5'7 and im 5'3, im wearing a 2 inch heel which is considerably low and he jokes about it but i might seriously suggest that he also get lifts for his shoes so well have a little more height difference.
